Vracoop extends its range

Established on the Créaluz technology park at Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the Vracoop company develops solutions to facilitate the sale of loose products and reduce packaging waste. Containers for the distribution of products are now available to complete the offer.

At the end of October, the Vracoop company set up containers for the distribution of products on the Créaluz sites. These containers are available in two sizes - 16 litres and 8 litres - made of PEFC cardboard boxes (a certification of sustainable forest management) and a transparent panel in recyclable plastic (Polyethylene Terephtalate) with a stainless steel frame. All the parts are manufactured locally within 100km of the headquarters of the business located on the Créaluz technology park in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

These containers can be placed on any flat surface to offer loose products without any constraints. They complement the Vracoop solution made up of eco-designed silos in 100% recyclable and compostable cardboard for dry, granular loose products with a capacity of ten litres and a payment system that allows customers to bring their own containers thanks to a smart labelling system.

Created in 2017 by Sébastien Lefond at the Izarbel business incubator, the Vracoop company won the ‘Innovation Workshop’ project bid from the Communauté d’Agglomération Pays Basque in the same year. In October 2019, the Vracoop team moved to the Créaluz business incubator in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, enjoying the support of the Technopole Pays Basque for the development of its eco-solution.
