Technopole innovations demonstrated in Paris

Technopole Côte Basque companies were present at the recent boat show in Paris. An unmissable event in the boating sector, the ‘Nautic’ is an international showcase.

Organised from 3 to 11 December 2016 in Paris, the ‘Nautic’ has been an unmissable event in the boating industry since 1962.  200,000 visitors came to the 2016 event bringing together all the sectors of the boating industry: sailing, speedboat racing, equipment, board sports, diving, fishing and media. This year, the show had 760 exhibitors and some one thousand boats of all kinds were exhibited.

The exhibitors included two Technopole Côte Basque companies: the young E-Motion Motor company with its innovative electric water scooter, and MaxSea, a global leader in marine navigation software for boaters, fishermen, sailors and marine professionals. These two companies are fine ambassadors for ocean technologies and industries, and are supported by the Côte Basque Adour Urban Authority in their Ocean Start project.
