Aid to encourage SMEs to exhibit at trade fairs and exhibitions

Promoting the drawing power of the principal trade fairs and exhibitions in France in the context of the Covid-19 crisis, that’s the purpose of the aid set up by the Government last March.

This scheme aims to support the recovery of the principal trade fairs and exhibitions by supporting SME exhibitors in the wake of the health crisis, by making these companies aware of how useful these fairs and exhibitions can be in developing their businesses.

79 events involved in France

This aid is available up to June 2023. It should enable SMEs who wish to exhibit at one of the 79 events listed in the scheme to be subsidised for 50% of their costs of renting exhibition space and their registration costs.

Each event will be allocated an amount of € 1,300,000 excluding tax out of the total budget and the subsidy for each exhibitor at each event will be capped at € 12,500 excluding tax.

To obtain this aid, two conditions must be met by the SME exhibitors interested:

  • They must not have participated in the previous year’s event,
  • Their dossier must have been created on the CCI platform before the total budget allocated to each event is used up and by 31 December 2022 at the latest.

Applications can be made to the CCIs or at https://les-aides.fr/soutien-salons-et-foires

An application for full aid, accompanied by supporting documentation, must be made electronically by up to two months after the event is held.
