A specialist in the dimension calculation of composite structures, Professor Sung Ha from the University of Hanyang in Seoul came to look at the Compositadour platform set up on the Technocité technology park site in Bayonne.

Professor Sung Ha, accompanied by some dozen members of his research team, made up of doctoral students and scientists, came to spend a day at the end of February on the Compositadour platform that specialises in advanced processes (composites, robotics and additive manufacturing) and which he collaborates with through common projects and clients.

As a specialist in the dimension calculation of composite structures, Professor Sung Ha is known in particular as part of the team of Professor Stephen W. Tsai of the University of Stanford, one of the world’s leaders in composite physics.

Professor Sung Ha’s visit was originally intended to be a conference open to the public and to business, but it eventually took place in the form of discussions with the Compositadour team because of the Covid-19 crisis that prevented industrialists from travelling. Some fifteen people from the Compositadour team were therefore able to share their experience and knowledge around collaboration and the opening up of the Asian market.
