Second Additive Valley Workshop at Technocité

The Addimadour platform dedicated to additive manufacturing will host the second Additive Valley workshop on 21 March from 9.30am to 3.45pm. Partners of the Competitiv’eko programme will come together to develop cross-border cooperation around additive manufacturing.

After an initial collaborative workshop, held on 12 December 2017 at Cámara de Gipuzkoa (Gipuzkoa Province Chamber of Commerce in the Spanish Basque Country), the partners of the Competitiv’eko programme will meet at the Technocité Technology Park to continue their work.

The Competitiv’eko cross-border project aims to boost the competitiveness of companies in the Basque Country-Aquitaine, Spanish Basque Country and Navarre regions.  The end aim of the project is the creation of two permanent cross-border cooperation hubs, with possibly the launch of an ‘Additive Valley’ dedicated to additive manufacturing based on metal, plastic or other materials for multiple industrial sectors.

The second Additive Valley workshop will take place at the Addimadour platform.  Inaugurated in May 2017 at the Technocité Technology Park, this technology centre occupies premises of 800m2 (provided by the semi-public company Cré@ticité) and enables the development of additive manufacturing projects in metal.
