Simon Dabadie, the founder of Dab Motors based at the Technocité Technology Park, has harnessed the technological facilities of the Compositadour platform to transform a motorbike using composite materials.

Simon Dabadie worked on the base of a Yamaha XSR900 to create an avant-garde machine named Alter. By using innovative technology and materials such as digital modelling, additive manufacturing and composite materials, Simon Dabadie has set himself among from the experts in motorbike personalisation. After replacing the materials that are usually used for mud guards and tanks with flax fibre on the Alter model, Simon Dabadie is proposing a new version with carbon fibre. Simone Dabadie works on his own designs and also with motorcycle manufacturers. He markets the Dab Motors products via his website.
