CREAHd visits Mauléon

The Regional Cluster for Construction and Sustainable Development in Aquitaine (CREAHd) established within the Arkinova Activities Generator has organised a visit of the Etxe Berri company in Mauléon on the themes of eco-construction and renovation of old buildings.

With 150 members in Aquitaine including construction companies, architects and urban planners, research centres and laboratories, developers and promoters, local authorities and training organisations, CREAHd has several regional sites, including at the Arkinova Technology Park since the beginning of this year.

CREAHda’s main goals are supporting and promoting innovation in the construction and materials sector and coordinating the regional sustainable construction and development sector. Meetings are organised regularly in the Basque Country and the "CREAHd Pintxos" are visits to professionals or building sites. On 14 September, a guided visit of the Exte Berri company in Mauléon is being organised, headed by Jean-Jacques Exteberri.

As part of the Arkinova ecosystem, Jean-Jacques Etxeberri, along with the Federation of Building Professionals, took part in a project on hemp developed with the NOBATEK / INEF4 technology resource centre. To present his company of 30 employees, Jean-Jacques Etxeberri will present a demonstration of lime-hemp, among other things. “We are working on the renovation of old buildings and will show CREAHd members how our process works and also address the subject of recycling waste on construction sites”, he explained.
