Agile methods for companies

Alice Barralon offers her expertise in training and agile and lean company transformations, acquired through 10 years’ experience with companies in France and abroad.

“Agile practices are a state of mind which can be applied to all IT and service fields” suggests Alice Barralon. They first emerged in 2001 with the publication of the “Manifesto for Agile Software Development” co-written by 17 major players in the field of IT and software development with the idea of proposing a new design method for products and services.

The concept of agility is now more than 20 years old. It has become a must for large companies (Société Générale, Total, Renault Digital, AXA, etc.) and also for SMEs who wish to adjust to daily changes in the market and the complexity of the modern world.

Agility coexists with the Lean Start-up: “We start out from the hypothesis of a product or service based on knowledge of the market and its users and very quickly have to tackle the market by rapidly delivering small functional bricks. This is the opposite to the traditional V model cycle” explained Alice Barralon.

Presenting herself as an “agility artisan who trains, distorts and transforms teams and companies in their agile transformation”, Alice Barralon provides answers to the digital innovation challenge which is considered to be a profound cultural transformation. As a consultant and trainer, she mainly uses the Lean Start-up method dedicated to the launch of an economic activity or a product and based on the verification of concept validity, experimentation and iteration.
