André Falchi has taken over from Olivier Scheffer as the head of the NOBATEK/INEF4 technology resource centre at the Arkinova Technology Park site.

Since the beginning of November, André Falchi has been running the NOBATEK/INEF4 centre, a certified “National Institute for Energy Transition”. NOBATEK/INEF4 is specialised in the sectors of planning, renovation and sustainable construction, and employs around sixty engineers, researchers, technicians and architects, half of whom work at the headquarters in Anglet. The remaining teams are shared between a major site in Talence, near Bordeaux, and two new branches in Paris and Rennes which opened in 2018.

André Falchi was first a member then an associate of NOBATEK/INEF4 through his company Etxeterra, and has a strong knowledge of the organisation, whose main mission is to develop and share innovative solutions for environmental and energy transition in the building sector. There have been many successful collaborations between NOBATEK/INEF4 and Arkinova stakeholders, including the Business Generator. The solar housing project, Baitykool, is a good example of this, and was recently recognised at Solar Decathlon in Dubaï.

“My goal will be to follow the company’s roadmap and use what those before me have so well developed. My role will be to turn their projects and ideas into a reality, with a constant view towards successful energy transformation for the building sector” said André Falchi.
