A new Compagnons website

Details of training courses offered by the Fédération Compagnonnique des Métiers du Bâtiment d’Anglet (Anglet Guild of Master Craftsmen in the Building Profession) are set out more effectively in a portal site that groups together all guilds of master craftsmen in France.

Recently launched, this new website is a real platform for information that includes the history and the principles of trade guilds in France. The possibility to search by trade, qualification or establishment makes the fifteen or so qualifications proposed at Anglet easy to find.

Based at the Arkionva site for four years now, The Anglet Fédération Compagnonnique des Métiers du Bâtiment accommodates some 500 trainees including apprentices, job seekers, company employees, and DIMA students on vocational part-release courses or young people completing their tour around the country (Tour de France). Professions taught at the centre include tiling, roof carpentry, roofing, building, painting-glaziery, joinery and plastering.
