2MoRO Solutions joins the Sopra Steria group

This company created on the Izarbel Technology Park in 2004 and led by Pierre Dagois, which publishes maintenance software for the aviation industry, has joined the Sopra Steria group which has operations in over twenty countries.

"Since 4 August this year, 2MoRO Solutions has been a 100% subsidiary of the Sopra Steria group, the 41,000-strong European leader in digital transformation," announced Pierre Dagois, director of 2MoRO Solutions, which specialises in publishing maintenance, fleet management and navigation software.

Launched in 2004 on the Izarbel Technology Park, 2MoRO Solutions has developed software products that include Aero One, Aero-Webb and BFly, which are now used in 23 different countries by aircraft operators and manufacturers and repair centres. By joining the Sopra Steria group, a digital services company (DSC) employing 41,000 people, 2MoRO Solutions will be reinforcing its position on the aviation and defence market and opening up new opportunities in other market sectors.

More precisely it is with the CIMPA subsidiary, which specialises in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SLM (Service Lifecycle Management), that 2MoRO Solutions will now be collaborating. "The complementarity between our offers, based on the development of solutions for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) firms and their implementation in our customers' core businesses will also enable us to offer global, end-to-end solutions covering a wider scope," explains Pierre Dagois.

Becoming part of the Sopra Steria group will enable 2MoRO Solutions to benefit from the latest innovative technologies (artificial intelligence, big data, predictive maintenance, virtual and augmented reality, etc.), but also from the strength of this large and fast-growing French group. With 25 employees, 2MoRO Solutions will remain on the Izarbel Technology Park so that it can keep its team and skills together.
