New operations manager for ESTIA Entreprendre Eric Barquissau is a marketing lecturer and researcher. On a quest to bring companies and the entrepreneurial world closer together, he supports project initiators and young companies in the Izarbel and Technocité technology parks as well as occupants of the Olatu Leku site at Anglet.

November 2016 saw the arrival of Eric Barquissau in the team at ESTIA Entreprendre, the department of the ESTIA engineering school responsible for supporting project initiators and young company creators. Working alongside Chloé Salmon-Legagneur and Hélène Marty, the marketing professor is aiming to “provide monitoring and support for projects and companies in the business incubators and accelerators in the Izarbel and Technocité technology parks as well as the Olatu Leku accelerator at Anglet.”

A marketing lecturer and researcher at Pau Business School since 2011, Eric Barquissau specialises in digital marketing (e-commerce, e-marketing, social networks, community management), and his expertise will be useful for projects in the digital sector being developed at Izarbel.

A graduate of Reims Management School and IAE Pau, he also has experience as a sales engineer and in 2013 submitted a thesis. In joining ESTIA Entreprendre he will realise his “desire to work closely with companies” and keep his teacher’s hat on by providing training for local entrepreneurs and students from the engineering school.
