In partnership with ESTIA, the Wild Code School is launching two training sessions in computer programming. The first one, lasting three months, will begin on 19 March next.

After launching in 2014, the Wild Code School now has ten training sites in France, including a brand new one at the Izarbel Technology Park. This school offers courses in web development to learn how to "create, write, test and document websites, apps and software". The Wild Code School uses hybrid methods combining distance learning with classroom teaching.

The school aims to train operational web developers capable of meeting companies' needs in three to five months. According to the Wild Code School, 85% of its students have found a job within a year of completing the course. After being awarded the "Grande Ecole du Numérique" (digital higher education institute) label and winning funding under the "Culture de l’entrepreneuriat et de l’innovation" (Culture of entrepreneurship and innovation) investment programme, the Wild Code School is organising two training sessions in the Basque Country in partnership with ESTIA.

A first three-month course, on the Java/JEModule programming language, will run from 19 March to 8 June on ESTIA's premises. This training module and those that follow are aimed at jobseekers who have already had some training in computer science or have some experience of working in the field. The course fees can therefore be paid for them. It should be noted that these courses are offered as part of a "collective operational employment preparation" programme in response to the needs expressed by the FAFIEC, the accredited training funds collection body for the digital sector.

The first course organised on the Izarbel site will have a maximum of 17 participants and recruitment of this group has already begun. Two information sessions will be held on the mornings of 19 and 26 April in the main building at ESTIA. Free breakfast information sessions entitled "Wild Breakfasts" will be organised every Wednesday morning in the ESTIA 2 building. Two more three-month courses will be organised in June and September (dates to be confirmed) and a five month-long web developer training module will begin on 3 September 2018.
