Dassault Aviation has hired the expertise of Izarbel for the new Rafale maintenance system intended for its international customers.

In service in the French Navy since 2004 and in the French Airforce since 2006, the Rafale is a fighter jet produced by the Dassault Aviation group. The Rafale is produced in four versions, and built on eleven French sites of which six are in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, notably the Dassault Aviation site in Anglet.

In the past two years, Qatar, Egypt and India have bought 84 jets. To provide development and support for the new maintenance management system of the Rafale for its export customers, Dassault Aviation has chosen the French group Sopra Steria. It will be assisted by its subsidiary CIMPA, its Aeroline division and its Indian subsidiary in developing this maintenance management system which will use the Aero-Webb software program produced by the company 2MoRO.

So, Dassault Aviation has chosen this software suite developed by the company 2MoRO, created and based at the Izarbel Technology Park. Aero-Webb is a complete software suite for the maintenance, fleet management and calculating the potential of aircraft. “It’s a clear acknowledgement of 2MoRO’s expertise, and of ten years work on the Aero-Webb program which is already being used by the Safran group. This service for Dassault Aviation will undoubtedly open the way for us to other markets” declared Pierre Dagois, manager of 2MoRO.
