The Inter-company Transport Programme (ICTP) in consultation at Izarbel

The Basque Country Transport Authority and Local Authority invites the companies at the Izarbel Technology Park to a discussion on the Izarbel inter-company transport programme (PDIE) This meeting will take place Wednesday 11 July 2018 at 8.30am the Le Spot restaurant.

An inter-company transport programme, after on-site evaluation, enables an action plan to be put forward with alternative or corrective actions to solo driving.   The motivations behind the implementation of an PDIE are both financial and environmental; to reduce the transport budgets of households, improve the quality of air and limit global warming.

While a single company may set up a transport programme (intra-company programme), such programmes are increasingly developed in a collective format adapted to the scale of business parks (and thus inter-company).  Pooled means thus enable, for example, considerable savings on transport budgets and optimise the user potential for alternative forms of transport.

In the framework of the drafting of an inter-company transport programme at the Izarbel Technology Park, the Basque Country Transport Authority and Local Authority is inviting the companies on the site to a breakfast meeting to discuss the PDIE, on Wednesday 11 July 2018 at 8.30am at Le Spot d’Izarbel.  On the agenda:

  • Brief review of the PDIE programme and its aims;
  • Summary of the evaluation carried out with the contribution of the companies and various surveys;
  • Presentation and consultation on the provisional action plan.
