Tekniaero, a company specialized in the production of basic parts and sub-assemblies for the aeronautics industry, is adding production and management space to its plant located at Technocité, Bayonne’s technological park.

"We are currently installing two mezzanines with a total surface area of 170 square meters.  One room will be dedicated to small parts assembly and the other will be used to structure production management. This way, we’re adding a second floor to the workshop. What’s more, in mid-January, we set up a new machining center including a machine tool," explained Florence Gillot, Tekniaero's administrative and financial director.

Created in January 2017 by Stéphane Azcué in an 800-square-meter facility on the Technocité campus in Bayonne, Tekniaero is a subcontractor for the aeronautics industry. It produces equipment parts for airliners, private jets and military aircraft using cut, folded, welded or stamped aluminum sheets. The company currently has 30 employees with its workforce having tripled in one year.

Tekniaero's customers include the Dassault Aviation group and its Falcon 6X program, Stelia Composites (a subsidiary of Stelia Aerospace) and the Satis company for the Qantas program, the Safran France and Maghreb group as well as subcontractors for prime contractors in the aeronautics industry.
