Already based on the Technocité Technology Park, the 640 group is opening a second training centre for the remote flying of drones at Brive-Souillac airport.

Since setting up on the Technocité site in February 2015, 640 Aéro has developed a training offer aimed at the general population. To become a professional drone operator, you have to obtain a “declaration of skill level” awarded by a specialist centre. The 4-strong 640 Aéro team teaches the basic essentials of remote flying and specific courses adapted to the needs of its customers.

A second training centre for the remote flying of drones has just been opened by 640 Aéro on the site of Brive-Souillac airport with a dedicated member of staff. In addition to remote flying training, the first sessions of which were launched in January 2018, the aim of the project is to offer a unique platform in France for development and experimentation in robotised technology which can meet the requirements of activities linked to airport zones (inspection, site security…).
