Refurbishment & natural light at the Arkinova business generator

Organised by the NOBATEK/INEF4 technology resource centre, there will be a conference at 5.30 pm on 12 December at the Arkinova business generator on the theme of natural light in the urban environment, with a focus on Bayonne.

The conference will begin with a talk by Benoît Beckers, lecturer-researcher at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), who is in charge of the joint architectural and urban physics laboratory launched with NOBATEK/INEF4.

The theme of natural light in the urban environment will be illustrated by the example of the city of Bayonne, with the participation of Katia Haristoy, who is responsible for the protected sector and the old city centre, but who also heads the national programme for the regeneration of run-down old quarters (PNRQAD) for the City of Bayonne; she will talk about the municipal clearance plan.

Christophe Bagieu, lecturer in topography and head of the GEO 3D bachelor's degree course (UPPA/Lycée Cantau/ISABTP) will talk about the digitisation of the old city centre. Benoît Caussade, Director of SOLiHA Pays Basque, and Fabian Bertocchi, head project engineer at NOBATEK/INEF4 will present a rehabilitation project concerning a building in the city centre.
