UPPA’s Second Entrepreneurship Seminar

Six business projects sponsored by the University of Pau & Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) students and lecturers/researchers benefited from three days of support within the framework of the Energy Environment Solutions project (E2S).

The second “Entrepreneurship Winter Camp”, held last January 22nd - 24th, brought together some sixty participants in Salies-de-Béarn. Six business projects focusing on energy and the environment sponsored by UPPA students and lecturers/researchers were selected beforehand. The aim of the seminar was to rely on collective intelligence, interdisciplinarity and teamwork to develop the projects with support from experts and advisors. At the outcome of the 3-day camp, six prizes were awarded, in particular with the “Innovation” prize awarded by the Arkinova Business Generator to Antonin Laurent for his “LookUp” project for eco-friendly laptop stands made of wood.
