Fifteen or so jobseekers are taking training in sales techniques related to the digital field at the engineering school at the Izarbel Technology Park site in Bidart.

The training, which started on July 2, runs for seven weeks on a full-time basis followed by two weeks of internship in a company. Reserved for jobseekers, the "IT Business Officer" training course offers fifteen places and is financed by Pôle emploi and the FAFIEC (Engineering and Consulting Training Insurance Fund), the OPCA (joint organisation for registered collectors) for digital professions. The course provides a qualification at the end and targets SEs and SMEs in the services and digital industries in particular, who are looking for sales representatives and business managers capable of carrying out a sales or service provision project from the design of the commercial offer through to final invoicing.
