A technical manager for Créaluz

Pierre Diaz, research engineer in additive manufacturing at the Addimadour hub, has been appointed to the Créaluz technology park site. His role is to lead the fast prototyping workshop at this business incubator & prototyping workshop of the Communauté Pays Basque.

From the beginning of April, Pierre Diaz has held a part-time post at Saint-Jean-de-Luz on the Créaluz site. This incubator of technological businesses, coupled with a prototyping workshop, occupies a 1,500 m² building devoted to supporting project leaders in eco-design who can design their prototypes there.

Créaluz has a 200 m² fast prototyping workshop comprising several workshops equipped with machines and tools for 3D printing, prototyping of electronic systems, cutting, assembling and machining of rigid materials, work in light and heavy textiles, as well as a photo & video studio.

Pierre Diaz, technical manager of the workshop, will support Aline Frésier, Head of Economic Development in the Communauté Pays Basque and manager based at Créaluz. Pierre Diaz will have a part-time presence at Créaluz via a partnership between the Communauté Pays Basque and the technological platform Compositadour established in Bayonne.

He will be involved in setting up the workshop, for example by adding the finishing touches to its equipment and establishing a system for waste management, machine maintenance and stock management, training and supporting users, setting up the economic model and operation invoicing, and promoting Créaluz, while contributing to the activity of Technopole Pays Basque through networking.
