Kompai Robotics, WaveBumper and Bioluz win Néo Aquitains awards

Three businesses have been awarded Néo Aquitains economy prizes, including two from the Technopole Pays Basque: WaveBumper and Kompaï Robotics. The third is Bioluz.

The Néo Aquitains economy prizes are announced at the beginning of December. Organised every year by the newspaper Sud Ouest and its partners, the Néo Aquitains economy prizes are awarded by Department, then at a regional final. Eight candidates were selected for the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and the Departmental prize was won by the Bioluz laboratory a specialist for 40 years in the filling, sterilising and packaging of pouches of injectable solution. 

The WaveBumpercompany, established on the Technocité technology park in Bayonne, has won the ‘Startup’ prize for developing a patented solution for protection from submersion by the waves. Also located on one of the Technopole Pays Basque sites, the Izarbel site at Bidart, the Kompaï Robotics company took the ‘Innovation’ prize and the public prize for its assistance robot for patients and staff in healthcare settings.
