For his digital brainstorming solution, Julien Ambrosino is one of 29 young PhDs awarded during the 1st i-PhD innovation competition.

"The project was inspired by doctoral research conducted from 2014-18 within the framework of ESTIA's Sustainable Innovation & Creativity Chair," explained Julien Ambrosino, now associate researcher at ESTIA Recherche and Innovation Project Manager for Lectra's Lab Innovation in Cestas (33). With his IdeaValuation project, he was one of the three Nouvelle Aquitaine project winners at the i-PhD 2020 national innovation competition organized in early February by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, along with Bpifrance.

IdeaValuation is a digital solution dedicated to collective brainstorming sessions, especially relying on software that generates, evaluates and detects precious ideas based on the data-mining algorithms used. Thanks to the i-PhD innovation competition, Julien Ambrosino will receive support to create his company and develop a full range of services designed for corporations, mid-cap companies (ETIs) and business clusters.
